After a picture-perfect take-off, we are in the air and have just reached our cruising altitude.
You can now use your electronic devices again in flight mode. If you haven't switched on flight mode yet, you should do so now. You can find the settings for this in the upper right corner behind your avatar > Notifications. To activate flight mode, all emails (and even in-product notifications) can be canceled in that menu.
Another new feature is the option to customize project default settings for yourself. If you only want to receive selected notifications, you now have plenty more options than you did on Jira Server. Say goodbye to your Outlook rules and adjust the email notifications to suit you instead.
Please stay seated until the seatbelt signs go off. The crew will then promptly offer cool drinks and fresh food. You find our current offers from the board bistro in front of you in the seat pockets.
Until then, have a pleasant flight!
The Jira-Jungle-Journey is my way of making the transition from Jira Onprem to Cloud more fun. This is a (almost) weekly series of features, tips and fun facts packed into a Jungle Adventure.
Missed last week's edition? Here it is: Jira-Jungle-Journey #2 / Free reading materials & ... - Atlassian Community
