Yes, you can use google mail for send and receive with Jira.  If you are thinking "integration" means more than the standard mail processing, then could you explain what your "integration" is?

What I mean  is to  attach  a  gmail  email to a task.

You'll need to download/save the email then attach it to the issue by hand.

Hi Georgios,

what exactly do you mean by "gmail jira integration"? You can add your gmail as outgoing and incoming post server.

How exactly do you want to attach it? What is the goal you want to achieve?

You can add an e-mail to a project, Jira will create tickets from that email.

You'll need to download/save the email (ideally directly as a pdf, but if your email client does not support that, then you'll need to download and convert it to pdf), then attach it to the issue by hand.

In your case, I'd go with Nics solution and attach the email directly. There is not "automation" for this use case.
