Test connection successful but it won't set up

Hi All,

I have reinstalled Jira software 7.7.1 serveral times now because it just crashes every time it tries to connect to the DATABASE MySQL.

Initial setup was successful but when clicking next it just fails.  I have the latest JDBC driver and MySQL 5.7.

I can have the Jira running but can't connect to the Database.  I tried to load MySQL in the same server and tried in another...it will connect to the software but it just fails setting up.

Could anyone please help.
