Hi,

first time in 8 years I need your help.

After upgrade UPM Manager Jira crashed. And I was not able to restart Jira.
I tryed somthing but nothing works.
No I Installend Jira 7.9 with a new DB (Postgres) in a new Installation Direktory and a new home direktory. OK.

Then I tryed to import XML:

First copied the structure-, data-, caches direktorys from backup JIRA-DATA.
I did not install the user-plugins!

Then I started jira and tryed to import XML .
But no success, always the same:

We couldn't start the following plugins:

  • Gadget Directory Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.directory)
  • Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Gadgets Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.gadgets)
  • Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Global Issue Navigator (com.atlassian.jira.jira-issue-nav-plugin)
  • Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Quick Edit Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.jira-quick-edit-plugin)
  • Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - REST Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.rest)

Need your help.

Kind Regards

Have you tried clearing up your plugin cache?

  1. Shut down JIRA
  2. Delete the following hidden plugin cache directories:
    JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins
    JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins
  3. Restart JIRA (These directories will be recreated on JIRA reboot with new plugin cache)

since your JIRA isn't starting in the first place, you may skip step # 1 here... ;-)

Hi  Andereas,

nop, won´t work.

I tried also

  • Memory Allocation
  • Anti-Virus
  • Corrupted plugin cache
  • Incompatible JAVA version
  • Plugins are disabled in the database
  • Plugins require mroe time to startup
  • JIRA is Locked

as shown in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshooting-jira-startup-failed-error-394464512.html

and increasing time and disable loat plugin...

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/JIRA-access-problem-after-update/qaq-p/654160

no success :-(
