Hello Team,
We had instaled JIRA software and JIRA Confluence, We noticed that once we login to confluence JIRA software session get a logout frequently please advise..
Please note we had instaled Jira and Confluence on the same server with different port and Different Database DB. is this is right approach ? can be on same DB both application ? We also planing for JIRA service Desk.
thanks

It is not a good practice to have both applications on the same server. If there is a problem with the server both Applications will be down. Not a good situation for any admin.
Regarding the logging out, you can increase the time by going to web.xml file then make your change.
Please click here to read more about changing the session timeout.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Best,

Thanks for update.
Our server is in the virtualized cluster and with enough resources, also having a separate servers for apps and DB.
We are planing for installation of Service desk please advise can on instal same Database or new to create new Data base.

that mean for jira software/jera service desk and jira confluence can be in single Database?

or its should be like that? what will impact if we use separate DB for each..

On same DB shouldn't be a problem at all.
Small rectification, there is:
JSD can be installed as a standalone application if you don't want Jira Core or Jira Software.
If you already have Jira then JSD will be like an Add-on
