How to move all the issues of one project to another

Guillermo_Mesquida May 2, 2019

Hello Community,

I need to move all the issues (around 30 issues) from on project to another, as we move to Service Desk platform.

Anyone knows how to move all the issue at once, instead of move one by one.

Thank you

Monica

Hi there,

Once you have run the filter Project = XXX and you are displaying all your issues for that project, you can run a bulk change from Tools in the top right. (see screenshot) run through the steps...

I'll leave this too - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver073/editing-multiple-issues-at-the-same-time-861257342.html

As it will explain all the features of a bulk change in more detail.

Hope it all helps.

Thank you Jason,

The printscreen you sent me, I guess if for a Classic template project, but my project is a new generation template, exactly, the Kanaban Board.

I told that as I didn't see the option of Tools in the top of the 'Issues'

Thank you again!!

Yup, it is classic.

I can not say that I have used Next Gen Jira - but do you have an Issue Navigator? (Issues, which will be next to Boards) From there you would search the project and issues you want to move and make the bulk change from there (providing you have permissions to move issue between the two projects).
