Edit button missing

Edited

Hello

I'm currently experiencing an issue with edit issue permissions in my Jira projects.

I have the same scheme configured for both "Browse" access for all logged-in users and "Edit" access for only the Jira admin group.

However, I've noticed that I can see the "Edit" button in Jira Service Desk and I can edit issue, but it's missing in Jira Software and again I tried with others permission scheme with various permissions the edit is available

Could you please explain this discrepancy and help me resolve the issue?

Thank you

Hi @Kranthi Kumar ,

The permission scheme doesn't seem to be completed. Edit Issue permission will provide you the privilege to edit summary, description, other usual fields but you need to complete the permission scheme for Assign, Comment, Attachment, Schedule etc. which will provide you the privilege of editing them.

If you still face issue, please confirm that whether you are having Jira Service Management license or not.
