Avoid email notification from an automated user

Hi,
I enabled Jira Service Template from GitLab to allow the integration between GitLab and Jira. To do so, I created a special user in Jira, as explained here https://rur.it-robotics.it/gitlab/help/user/project/integrations/jira
The problem is that every time I made an operation in GitLab (e.g. a merge request or a mention to a Jira task), an email is sent from Jira.
Is it possible in Jira to avoid that this special user can send email?
Or can somebody suggest me another add-on to integrate GitLab with Jira?
