@Mira The Default assignee feature is there in the above screenshot I've attached. However the default reporter to a specific member is not there yet. Yes, Only Jira automation is the key.
Another technique though is Post function.
Once a ticket is created it's initial status will be Backlog or ToDo. If you want to assign a ticket to a user when transitioning it from current status to next, then POST FUNCTION can help.
@Mira However the detault reported and assignee are set for a project not for the board. Also there isn't a way to assign the default reporter to someone else.
