How to use the tier of affected services in JQL?

Aman July 27, 2021

Hi,

I want to define SLA based on the tier of the Affected Service, so I am trying to come up with a JQL for that.

I tried in the issue navigator but I am unable to search based on the service tier, any idea how to do that? Or if it is not possible (currently)?

Regards,

Aman

Hello @Aman

This is an interesting and useful use case and honestly I think there is no exact solution available at this moment.

I would suggest to use the "Affected services" in the JQL to start off.

We can keep an eye on the upcoming changes to see if we are able to use the 'Tier'; which is currently not available.

Please let me know if this helps or if there are any further questions.

Hey @Gaurav

I am aware of this approach, however it is just not feasible when you have over 350 services. I hope they can come up with a good use of tier soon enough.

Regards,

Aman
