Hello everyone,

Screenshot 2023-10-17 at 22.09.14.pngimage.png

I want to do this, for example, a ticket will be opened every Monday and I want to put the attachment I want into it. (Is it added with automation?)

Actually, I did most of the rules, but I cannot create related link issue automatically.

I can assign anyone I want, I can make anyone I want a reporter.

Can you send me a picture of what kind of automation I will do?

I want to add an attachment, and I want this ticket opened every week to be a related link.

Hello @Barış Özer

Can you provide more information about your requirement that "this ticket opened every week to be a related link"?

To what other issue are you trying to link the newly created issue?

There is no specific action available in Automation Rules to add a new attachment to a newly created issue.

It appears that you can add attachments to an issue using the REST API.

https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-attachments/#api-rest-api-3-issue-issueidorkey-attachments-post

You could try using the Send Web Request action in the Automation Rule to execute a call to the API to upload the attachment to the issue.

I have not tried that, so I can't provide the specific details nor confirm that it works.
