Allowing access to a customer portal AFTER agreeing to Terms and Conditions

Peter Gagne May 9, 2024

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling to come up with a way where I can display a one-time T&C Form on the Portal and only after the consent, allow the customer to submit Requests.

Here's what I've done so far:

  1. Created Portal 1 with a T&C Form and "Agreement" check box.
  2. Created Portal 2 with Customer Request types.
  3. My approach was to create Organizations and add Users to Portal 1; sending the invitation to agree to our Terms and Conditions (check box)
  4. I thought I could then (via automation?) add each customer who agreed to the T&C's to JSM Project 2.    ...one by one.  I'm having difficulty with creating an Automation script that might solve this.

My logic may be flawed but I'm hoping my JSM peeps can set me straight!

@Peter Gagne I am not aware of a way to do this with automation.  I believe you could use an app like script runner to do that.
