Send an email to an email address in a custom field (notification)

Edited

Hello,

I am a novice user of Jira. I have browsed many forums but I can not find the answer to my question.

I have "User" type tickets with a custom field named "Email". This field contains an email address.

During a transition, I would like to configure the sending of a personalized email to the email address entered in this custom field.

Thank you

Hello,

Little up !

Nobody has the solution ?

Hi.

This can be done using Jira Misc Workflow Extension add-on.

Here you can find more info how to add 'Email issue' post-function to a transition

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for your answer ! Sorry for the response time, I was caught on other projects.

I followed the tutorial, I followed all the steps and it does not work. I think this is due to the small note "This option is only available to Jira Service Desk customers." Unfortunately I use Jira Software.

It's really a shame! I don't understand that something so simple is so complicated to implement.

Do you have another solution?
