In the spirit of Harper's Index, I present...

#accidentalit Index

• Date of migration from Server to Cloud (Jira, Confluence, JSM): 2024-05-19
• Number of sites accidentally created on that first day: 1
• Time elapsed since migrating to Cloud with "managed" users: 8 months and 1 week (as of 2025-01-28)
• Number sites created by users in that time: 65
• Number of sites actually intended to be created by those users: 0
• Longest number of days where new site was not accidentally created: 36
• Average number of days between new sites accidentally being created: 4.5
• Number of sites where we never received notice of site creations: 5
• Number of support tickets created to expedite deletion of sites: 27 (I used to consolidate requests, now every new site gets its very own ticket)
• Average time from filing support ticket to deletion of sites: 17.6 days

Thanks to the fine efforts of @Charles Blaxland we now have a ticket filed by @Derrick Nguyen to HOPEFULLY address these problems:

• CLOUD-12193 - Reduce occurrences of accidental site creations
