"default value" according to project

Hi,

i need to set a value of customfield of select list type, according to the project in which an issue was created. I dont want to use the default values in contexts for each project, because i would have to create the values list for each project/ context, and say, i dont want to make a list of 100 values for 40 projects (since i need the same value list to be available for all projects). Is there any other way to achieve this?

Unfortunately, default values can be defined only for a context. So are the options. You are left with using contexts if you want different values in differen projects but then you will have to create the options in all contexts.
