Importing from Excel file. Getting errors "user does not exist" in the Assignee and Reporter field. The user names do exist in the project.

Hello @Phillip Keith ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Previous questions such as https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-set-the-Assignee-during-Import-Issues-from-CSV-now-that/qaq-p/851397 set Assignee and Reporter using either the username (everything before the email domain) or the email address.  I believe this was changed recently to their User ID.

You can get the complete list of users and their corresponding User IDs by selecting Export Users from Directory->Users on your site at the admin link (admin.atlassian.com).

Your help is appreciated! Using an email address is working for the Assignee field. But not for the Requestor field. Requestor field I can live without anyway.

Also not able to get Target Start/End dates to populate in the imported stories. Formats look OK. Will keep playing with that.
