jira 4.1.1 and Redhat 7.4 compatibility

Hello,

sorry, i think there are a lot of topic like my question

but i would like to know if jira 4.1.1 and Redhat 7.4 are compatible

Does Redhat 7 run the version of Java you need to support Jira 4.1.1?

If it does, then yes, they are compatible.  But I would not use Jira 4, it has know security flaws and you really should upgrade as soon as possible.

actually my server is in Redhat 5.5 and java version "1.6.0_20"

i need to upgrade to java version 1.8 or open JDK 8 and Redhat 7.4

But i can't upgrate Jira because Jira need REST to be used for creating Web services All my services Web are using SOAP protocol Web services

do you know if java 1.8 or openJDK 8 are compatible with Jira 4.1.1 ?

You really do need to upgrade to at least 6 to be secure though.
