I am seeing this in my log now after doing plugin upgrades.   
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Invalid value for getInt() - 'USD'
My users are seeing generic error pop ups.   
I did the plugin upgrade in prep for a Jira upgrade from 8.8.1 to 8.20.11.
This is preventing test plan execution.  Takes the user to a blank page and does not display the steps for the plan.
