how to search on a custom field ?

Hello,

I created a custom text field [type Text Field (single line)], but when I search for an info based on this field in the search field, the result is null.

I am working in the cloud, with Jira Work Management.

If you have an idea, please let me know.

Hi @Aline Veyradier 

Search on the board

You can search by keyword or issue key in the board view. Enter the keyword or issue key you want to search the issues for and all issues containing that keyword will be shown.

You cannot search on other fields.

Any idea how I could search my custom field elsewhere than in the board view ?

You can perform an issue search on this field and add the custom field as a column in your search results. You can then save the search results as a filter and use the filter. Or add the filter to a dashboard.
