Can you provide more details on what you're trying to do?

We have some general examples on creating/retrieving issues via the REST API using curl and showing the required JSON. I'd need to know more about what you're attempting to do (Python script, node.js, etc) to provide a more language-specific example. There are a variety of libraries available for languages that you can probably also tap into. Googling "create jira issue <programming language>" is a great way to find these libraries in general.
