cannot close ticket from customer portal

I am new to JIRA. I just implemented servicedesk for testing and created some customers. We all can create ticket and have some basic options to edit the ticket like add comment and stuff, but no one has option to close the ticket (including myself). Can someone tell me where are permissions for that? Customers are member of servicedesk customers group.

I can login as admin in JIRA admin portal and see all the options there for any ticket.

Thank you

Hi @Faizan Khan,

In service desk projects, you need to be in the service-desk-agents group first and to close a ticket you should have the 'close issues' and 'resolve issues' permissions. It can be configured from the permission scheme of your project.
