Workflow status restriction

Is there a way to restrict which statues from a central status a user will see based on the value of a field?

So 

MAIN STATUS
|                   |
|                   |
status 1.      status 2

if a desingated custom field says send to status 2, the user will ONLY see status 2 to transition to

Hi @BrentBot - Yes.  You would use a workflow transition condition based upon the value of the field.

Thank you Mark. Testing this now. what would be the comparison type i would compare it to?

the field value will be either 1, 2, or 3
