When writing a comment with an @user, is it possible to set permissions automatically?

It is driving me crazy.  I am constantly being reminded by others (and I am getting sick of it) that I have to switch the permissions of a comment such that someone that I @Named will be able to see the comment.  There must be a way to get this to at the very least remind the me and any other user of the system that the @Named person will not be able to see the comment, isn't there?

So I guess no one finds this annoying or no one is going to bother fixing this?
