When is Jira planning to Next-Gen projects into plans?

Hi,

We are working on different type of projects in our company and mostly use Classic-Software or Business template.

We are using Next-Gen template for our Media Projects because of the easy-setup and access. However I cannot add them to our Advanced Roadmaps (Plans) in Jira. Without this I cannot forecast the Media Projects to my management team

Is there any plans to enable this in the future?

If yes, how long?

This is the closest/latest I have seen on this. - Advanced-Roadmap-support-for-next-gen-projects

it isn’t supported today and no firm plans that I have heard.
