I would like to see the number of issues assigned to a list of users.

Currently, I have a custom report that shows a list of all the cases assigned to those users (e.g. users A, C, D, F, G, H, T, and W in an organization with >10 users). Then, the report populates the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget in a dashboard.

In the dashboard, Jira shows:

I would like to see a row for each person (A, C, D, F, G, H, T, and W). Then, I can observe how busy each person is.

What is the best way to do that?

Hello @Zian Choy

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The Two Dimensional Filter Statistics table will show rows only for an entry that has non-zero data. It will not show a row for a user that has no issues assigned. There is no option to force the table to show such rows.

Are there other dashboard components/widgets that can show users with no issues assigned?

There are not native gadgets that will do that.

You could look at third party apps to see if they provide gadgets that would do that.

I also found this post that has an answer on it that proposes a solution. I did not test the solution to see if it works.

Actually, there is a way to have a dashboard that should people without any tickets.

It is a bit of work to setup, but will give you the info you need.

1, Create a filter for the projects

2, In your dashboard, add widget "Filter counts" , this returns the number of results for given filter

3, Setup the Filter counts as follows:

a, Top filter is your project filter

b, Under "Counts" add custom filter for each assignee  (assignee = xx " )

c, you can add warning if the result is 0 show red warning

d, add all assignees you want to watch

This will give number of tickets with each member and will also include those that have 0 tickets assigned.
