Hi, community:
We are trying to manage better the licenses and their use. In this manner, we are revoking access to users to certain Atlassian products, not just Jira Software, but I understand that it's a common matter.
My question is: users with access revoked will conserve privileges, group membership and all kind of functionalities as soon as I grant them permission again? I want to suspend and control the usage, focused on billing, during a certain period of time. What I do not want is to mess it up and seeing it "resets" somehow the membership, ownership and functionalities for these users in our Atlassian products.
Thank you so much!
How can I give access back to the accounts that been frozen?
Hello @mariam napetvaridze,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As a Site administrator, you need to go to Cog icon > User management and then search for the user you need to reactivate and click on “Grant site access”.
Kind regards,
Angélica

Hello Alejandro,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
When we revoke access of a user it's like we just "freeze" their account on the site.
Even though they will still be part of the groups that give access to a product, like jira-software-users, for example, they won't count as a license.
When we grant the access back, everything will be back the way it was, they will be able to log in and the permissions on projects will remain.
Regards,
Angélica
