Any suggestion on the important and useful filters (JQL queries) I can use for my stories/issue in the JIRA board so that it can help me in better tracking of my project progress and status of my issues?
Also helps me to narrow down to have better result views for my project.
Hi Smitha,
What exactly are you wanting to see?
@John Funk Any common quick filters every team would be using to keep better track of progress of their project

I agree with @John Funk , @Smitha Joseph.
You must share what you hope to see if you want some good examples.

Hi @Smitha Joseph,
Because you mentioned "stories" I assume that your project is a Scrum project. Or maybe a Kanban? Please clarify. Also, do you use Story Points or time estimates?
My advice is to create dashboards in Jira for tracking your projects. The Jira dashboards can be customized by adding the necessary gadgets to them (you can choose from many Jira native gadgets plus gadget offered by Marketplace apps) and you will have all the info centralized in one-place. Also, the dashboards can be shared with the entire team or project stakeholders.
Have a look over these articles on how to track your project progress:
As you will see, with some native Jira gadgets and the gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets app you can build effective dashboards for projects tracking. Feel free to contact support@stonikbyte.com for assistance in using this app.

Hi, @Danut M _StonikByte_. @Smitha Joseph is asking for JQL filter examples they can use in the Jira boards.
Your question about which kind of board might help illuminate what they're trying to accomplish. However, the second part of your answer is just an ad for your products.
IMHO, @John Funk has the right idea here.
