Is there a Slack channel, Discord server or anything similar for Jira? I am desperate for support to figure out if our company can migrate over from our current system but it's simply taking too long to receive replies on this community or from Jira themselves.
I'm just getting nowhere with this at all at the moment :(
There are a load of places you can ask for help, some of them chat based, but
The most expert people are Atlassian and this Community, and for official support, you need to engage with Atlassian or a partner.
Where are the "load of places" please because if I could speak to someone via live chat, that would be ideal?
I am reaching out to Atlassian but waiting a day between responses is just going to drag this process out for months.
I am reluctant at this stage to tap up an official partner because I don't really want to incur a load of costs just while we try and test the products and figure things out (I'm still trying to work out if our company could migrate over to Jira from our current provider - had an account several weeks now and got absolutely nowhere).

Just search for Jira or Confluence fora. You won't get a lot of "live chat" from them, people are all still volunteers like they are here, and I tend to stay off them because I don't have time or will to filter all the terrible advice/answers out from the good stuff you find there.
Best place to ask questions is of the 3.5 million people here. But it is mostly volunteers again.

Hi @zigojacko
This community is the best place to seek answers but if you want to talk to someone or get professional help then reaching out to an Atlassian Partner is highly recommended. Usually most partners would offer variety of services and you don't have to engage with them for full deployment/migration. It could be few days of consultancy to answer your specific questions and suggest a migration path. In fact you will save time (and money) if you get professional help.
Do you have list of your requirements and issues?
Ravi

Thanks Ravi, I am asking on here and not getting anywhere though (but I do appreciate the time anyone is taking to reply though). I am happy to consider approaching a partner but I am literally just asking very basic questions that really I feel should be self-explanatory (and I literally work in the tech/web space so am very savvy) - I've got no idea what on earth I am doing wrong.
The most important questions I have right now are about getting JSM to work with custom email addresses:-
I've spent hours trying to find out how to get email through to our JSM via a custom email account (which I was able to connect within seconds - it just doesn't do anything).
Once I have got this working and earnt of any limitations with regards to custom email accounts, I can probably figure out everything else.
