Hiya, I've currently got a Classic project that has two boards. It has a single workflow where all statuses can transition to all other stauses. There is nothing else in the workflow. When I try to click the Simplify Workflow button in the board settings I get an error:
"There currently exists an active workflow 'Software Simplified Workflow for Project FSR'. This conflicts with the Software Simplified Workflow management. Please rename or remove the existing workflow before attempting to convert project FIS Service Refresh."
My understanding is that it should be able to simplify this workflow but I'm getting this error. I'm a little confused as I don't think I can remove the workflow and leave the project with no workflow so I can't really do what the error message is asking.
Hi David,
See if this previous post helps you resolve your issue - Why-jira-wont-switch-to-software-simplified-workflow
That's great thanks. Given the workaround required here should this not be raised as a bug? Given the age of that answer I assume it's not going to get fixed in a hurry but thought I'd check
