Unable to start Jira after installing trial version

Hello,

I've installed Jira trial version (30 days) today. After installation got a blank page.

Can't reach this page.

https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download

is there any other link to download Jira Cloud.

Please help to resolve this issue.

If you got a blank page, that implies something is running (the Tomcat that Jira runs on), but that there is something wrong (Either Jira has not started on top of Tomcat, or there's a block somewhere).  Could you tell us what url you are using and where Jira has been installed?

Could you read the log file to see what the service is doing?  It will be <jira home>/logs/atlassian-jira.log - does that show Jira running ok, or are there lots of errors in it?

No, you cannot download Jira Cloud, it is a service you subscribe to.  The link you have given is to the download for Jira Server, and that link is working fine for me, it takes us off to the download archives.

I've downloaded Jira software server using this url:

Post installation, got blank page while accessing Jira - localhost:8080 

also checked the logs, no errors were found.

after 30 mins finally got the Jira setup window.

set up is pretty slow. a suggestion that this should be included as a note in documentation (trial version) 

its taking long time for the services to start & set up Jira trial version

Ahh.  Yes, it does take quite a bit of resource to get a Jira running.  (Frustrating, I remember times when it was so small it started in under 10 seconds)

Hi Saira,

you cannot download jira cloud, only server products can be installable.

If you install jira sofware server, which link do you use for access it ?

Check if you have :

• "Atlassian JIRA" windows service running
• Compatible database installed

do not hesitate to add a screenshot
