Trying to create a rule when all the child tickets are done the parent will automatically change to done and vice versa.
Hello @Gurmit Virk
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
When asking for help with an Automation Rule please provide the following:
1. Screen images that show your entire automation rule.
2. If you have triggered the rule and not gotten the results you expect, provide screen images showing the details in the rule audit log from when the rule executed. Make sure to click all the ">" characters on the right side of the log messages to expose all the details.
3. Provide an explanation of what you wanted to happen and what you observed actually happening.
4. Show the details of any step that includes smart values of JQL statements
Also, what type of project does this concern? Get that information from the Type column on the Projects page, which can be accessed from Projects > More Projects > View All Projects.
You can also see that information when you click the ... button next to the project name.
Additionally you can find some templates for rules here:

One of the most popular is an example of updating a parent issue based on the status of its child issues.
