Hello community,

I'm dealing with several boards in jira, but one in particular has a problem I cannot understand.

In the team we add the usual story points to our tickets, and once I refresh the page the story points are not shown,

But if click the row the story points show up again.

This is causing me problems not only in the board to understand the allocation, but also the metrics are empty because does not recognize the story points.

Any suggestion? Every other board is fine, and configured exactly like this one.

Hi @Agustin Nieves ,

Was this project/space or board recently migrated? I've heard that this could cause some issues, although I've never experienced this particular behavior myself.

This, generally speaking, looks like a rendering issue that could be browser-related so have you maybe tried using a different browser or incognito mode to see if the behavior will persist there as well? 👀

Btw, are other users experiencing the same thing? If so, it might be, in fact, some backend/board issue that the official support team should take a look at.

Also, are you only using Story Points for estimations, or do you use multiple estimation fields (e.g., time tracking, Story Point Estimate, or similar)?

Cheers,
Tobi

HI Tobi!

Thank you so much for your help, I already tried several things but to reply 1 by 1.

  • The space was not migrated
  • Persist in incognito or other browser
  • Other user experience the same
  • I actually only use "Story Points Estimate", didn't understand if there was another one just "Story Points"

I will open a ticket for the official support team

...Other user experience the same...

Based on this, I would definitely recommend going forward with the issue to Atlassian.

When they do find a root cause (or a resolution), it would be great if you could share it here. 👀
