Smart Values Not Copying Over to Cloned Ticket In Description Field

I have created the below rule that is not copying the data from the smart values to the cloned ticket. It does work when using the trigger of manual but not with issue created. What am I missing here?

Hi @Jesse Ortega Jr 

There is a known, racetrack timing problem with triggers such as Work Item Created where the rule can start running before all of the data is available.

The mitigation for this is:

  • Immediately after the trigger, add a Re-fetch Work Item Data action.  This will slow the rule slightly, reloading the data before the steps proceed.
  • Never use conditions with this trigger.  As it could be missing data, the conditions may lead to unexpected results.  Instead, add the conditions separately after the re-fetch action.
