Site Admin facing -- Your operation is taking longer than usual issues when click on JIRA settings

Hi Team, I am Kushal Singh and I am the site admin of my company's JIRA instance. However when I access JIRA admin functions, I get an error as stated below in screenshot:

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I was able to see that you are part of the correct groups to access all administration menus in Jira.

Just to better understand the issue, I'll make some questions:

  • There are other admins on your site, are they facing the same issue?
  • Are you facing this issue when going to Jira settings or Administration?
  • Have you tested using another browser, computer or network?
  • When did this issue start?

Thanks for responding to my query. Below are some answers to your questions:

  • Yes, there are other admins and they also are facing the same issue
  • I am facing this issue when I click on JIRA settings under admin functions. Also, I am not able to perform any JIRA admin functions like editing workflows etc..
  • Confluence and other admin user functions are working fine for me
  • Yes, I have tested in other networks and browsers and the issue is persistent
  • I am not sure on when it exactly started but I was able to use these functions last on 11th Dec.

I also see that a similar issue was raised in the past, however I am not able to see the results of the support ticket raised

Hi Kushal,

Thank you for sharing the ticket. In that case, the customer was not added to the administrators’ group, so we can try to do the same, or even if you are already added, you can remove and add yourself again.

Please, go to > Administration > Users and confirm if you are part of all administrators group.

Also, on the left sidebar, click on Product access > Administration access and confirm if the groups are added there as well. If it's not, then just add the groups.
