Hi,
I would like to know if it’s possible to share a specific field between a company-based space and a team-based space.
Is this technically feasible?
If so, what would be the recommended procedure or configuration to enable it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Álvaro
Hi @Álvaro Boza
Yes, this is possible. See my answer on this previous post: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Sharing-custom-fields-across-projects-Team-Managed-Project/qaq-p/2672003
A couple of caveats:
1. The field must created as a global custom field through the Company-managed custom fields process: settings > work items > fields.
2. The field cannot have any context where it is limited to certain Company-managed projects - it must be a global context.
3. Then you should be able to use the field in the Team-managed space.

Hi @Álvaro Boza
No, you cannot, Team managed are self-contained and you cannot share configuration with this type of project.
