We are migrating to JIRA 7.3.8, and a number of plugins are reporting incompatible or unknown. How do you find out if the plugins are incorporated in the to core functions of the new version?

Atlassian rarely draw add-on functions directly into the core, and when they do, it's very unlikely that there's any "hey, we've taken this from a third party add-on and implemented it", as they won't have done it the same way.  When they do overtly do that, they announce it loudly.

The general answer for what you're looking for is "read the release notes and check the functions from the add-ons are not described as new features"

Thank you Nic,

The main plugin we are trying to resolve is the Atlassian: Bitbucket importer for JIM. The notes show it is only compatible upto 7.2, and we are lookng to upgrade to 7.3.8. I have seen a couple of others asking about this plug-in with out a confirmation about testing or updating of the plug-in. I also have not found any information in the notes about it.
