I have several service desks that track the last updater to facilitate conversations.
Today I saw this on every issue in every service desk that uses this function:
"Error rendering 'lastupdaterorcommenter'. Please contact your Jira administrators."
Could something have changed in our settings that caused this? Or is this a new bug?

It seems some customers have been faced an error rendering the lastupdaterorcommenter in the last few days after a Cloud upgrade.
We had an internal ticket raised about this problem and some developers worked to fix it. Can you confirm if the issue is not happening to you anymore?
Since the fix is applied in batches on Cloud instances, I believe it could take a few days to apply the fix to all instances.
If you are still facing the same problem, please let us know and we will contact the dev team to deploy it on your Cloud instance.
