Moving projects in the same account

Hello,

Not sure how this occurred but a project was set up outside of our main account:

Main account: companyname

Sub account: companynameweb

How can I move my projects and configurations to companyname?

I do not know what you mean by "sub account"

If these are two different instances of jira which it sounds like is the case then you will need to do the following:

create new projects in the desired instance to receive the issues form the other instance. This will be a manual effort by referencing the existing projects in the incorrect instance.
export the issues from one project in the wrong instance into a csv file
import the csv into the correct instance. note i would start small and test it all out with a exporting/importing a few issues until you have the process working as expected.
