Max limit for Select List (single choice) custom field

I want to check if is there any max limit for Select List (Single choice) type custom field.

Can anyone please help me here?

Hi @Ankit Rastogi ,

According to this other post, there doesn't seem to be a limit. However for performance and usability reasons I wouldn't recommend a long list.

So, can you please help me to know which custom type of field we should use for long list?

I have 800 values.

Hi there! Would it be okay to use a cascading list? It would make it esier to manage so many values, if they can be grouped.If so, you can create a custom field of type Select List (cascading).
