Kaban board not showing issues created in roadmap

I have created a Kaban themed project. When I create subtasks on our Epics they don't show up on our Kaban board. Is there a way to have them move both ways?

If you have some issues being displayed on the board but only the sub-task issue types that are not visible, the issue type is most likely being blocked or not included in the boards' filter.

I recommend starting at the filter to verify, check out "Configure filters" for details on where the settings are located, and the following thread discusses this further with some examples of how the filter was misconfigured in the other users instance:
