Hello!
I hope somebody can help me with Jira Excel plugin. It's been spinning in both online and desktop versions of excel. I did all I could, uninstalled and installed the whole Office, removed the plug in and added it back. After all that it is still just spinning.
I was able to resolve this issue by clearing my cache. Here are the instructions on how to do it: clear-cache
Clear all in this folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\
Others are constantly having compatibility issues with Jira Cloud for Excel as well (it's not a Jira Cloud plugin but an Excel add-in which means it's more vulnerable to compatibility and other connection issues, compared to a native Jira Cloud Excel exporter app like Better Excel Exporter) (disclaimer: I'm working on this mentioned app.).
Issues arise if customers try to use both the desktop or cloud Excel versions.

Ok, interesting. I tried to use the free trial for 30 days and it's giving me an error too.

Yes, it's super annoying, this is happening across all apps on the Marketplace. The issue is not with the app, but with the Atlassian Marketplace and error handling. You have to try multiple times. An outstanding bill or missing payment info can also cause this.

Welcome to the community. What is the Jira version you are running? Do you see any issues when installing other plugins?

This is the version I'm using 1.1.0.0. I don't use any other plugins. Thank you for looking into this @reneesh kottakkalathil
