Hi!
We are currently on version 7.9.1. of Jira Software, that has an expired maintenance contract. We would like to move Jira to a new server and keep the same software version. We tried to install different Jira versions (7.9.1, 7.9.0) on new server using the same license, but the error message everytime is something like this:
The release date of the version 7.9.0 is 08-04-2018 and it’s before our maintenance has expired.
I found a very similar problem to ours here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/JIRA-License-transfer/qaq-p/18017
I think there shouldn’t be any complication at all with license migration to new instance of Jira Software 7.9.1 / 7.9.0.
Our Jira container runs on the OpenShift Container Platform cluster.
Hi!
We had some trouble verifying the details of your (expired) license. Be on the lookout for an email from Atlassian for further assistance!

Hi Daniel!
Thank you for your help. This could be because our company has changed its name a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn't get any e-mail from Atlassian with this incident yet.

Hey there!
I've requested some guidance from Atlassian on that question as it's a contractual/sales question. Hope to get some attention pretty soon!
In the meantime, have you tried installing with a trial and replacing this trial with your expired license?
Cheers

Hi Micky!
I tried to import data from .xml files, then I tried to connect with an existing database which already contained the product license. I also made a clean install and replaced the trial license with the expired one, then I got an error message:
