Question:
Is there a way to leverage the members of the “Team” field in Jira within automation rules?

Use case:
I’d like to set up an automation rule that automatically sends an email notification to all members of a given team when certain conditions are met.

Details:

1. Are there any available smart values that reference the members of a team field?

2. If not, are there recommended workarounds to achieve this (e.g., indirect ways to reference team members in automation)?

Currently it is not possible but there is a suggestion to add access to Teams from within an automation, see AUTO-1732. In the comments you will see a link to a Loom video showing a workaround using the Teams API to get all the team members.
