The permission scheme created by JSD allows customers with portal access to transition issues. Some customers are making transitions that we want to restrict, such as transitioning an issue to an Escalated status - we would like that to be restricted to staff.
I went to edit the permission scheme for the JSD project, but I do not see any option to remove portal customers from the Transition Issues permission. Is there a way to do this? If so, will removing portal customers from this permission prevent issues from transitioning automatically, as when a customer replies to a "Waiting for Customer" status issue and it changes to "Waiting for Support".
Is there any way to restrict which transitions a JSD customer in the portal has access to?
Permissions to transition issues by a customer is actually not done thru "permissions" but rather thru the workflow - exposing the transition or not - as you have discovered on your own.
I found how to "turn off" the Escalate permission in the portal. (using workflow editor).
Still interested if you can remove transition permission for portal entirely.
