JIRA Software with Service desk

Hi ,

we use JIRA Software for software development projects.

I would like to introduce JIRA Service desk for the Support process.

We still to continue developments plus support.

When installing service desk do I upgrade JIRA Software or install it standalone ?

whats the benefit for each scenario ?

You will, or should, install JSD on top of your JSW instance. If on Server check out these instructions - installing-additional-applications-and-version-updates
