Issue in Epic

JiraDev Digital Surf
May 27, 2024

Hi,

Is it possible to add a field (for example Priority) to the issues displayed as Issues of an Epic in the display screens of an issue?

(

And at the same time is it possible to sort the issues based on this field?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi @JiraDev Digital Surf

Unfortunately, this is not possible without an additional app/addon. On an epic, the fields shown for children can't be configured out-of-the-box.

However, you can sort the children by certain fields if you use this dropdown:

Hope this helps!

Hi @JiraDev Digital Surf,

as already suggested, this isn't currently possible, however if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you should get pretty close; see e.g. this thread for possible directions forward.

Best, Hannes
