Is there way for hiding fields in edit/View Screens on a questions

Is there way for hiding fields in edit/View Screens on a questions

For example:
If the assignee fills like field
Do you need to hide ? - Yes/No
If yes, we need some fields to hide and no the fields should all be viewed.

is it possible to set a solution in JSM or any suggestions or do we have any new feature tickets for this or not possible

You can use scriptrunner or jmwe if you have one of them. But without plugins I dont think jira has that for now.
