Is there JQL support to search for all issues that have a specific type of issue link? For example, I want to find all issues that have a "is a dependency of" link to other issues.

JQL Tricks Plugin (paid) has a hasLinks method which can do this.

I recommend you to do an evaluation to check if it performs well in your environment.
