Is it possible that JIRA Issue cloning set "Unassigned" value in field Assignee?

When cloning an Issue in JIRA the Assignee field value is also copied.

Is it possible to set JIRA to do by default that cloned issues will have"Unassigned" value. Can this be arranged? How to do that?

Hi,

1. Make sure that JIRA is allowing unsassigned issues (system configuration)

2. Standard clone function can't solve this issue. You need some more complex issue function like "Clone ++" ( https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.jira.clone-plus). This plugin works with properties in files where you can define how a field is handled.

Thank you. I will check this plugin...
