I am trying to auto-close and auto-create an issue from Jira service desk to next-gen software board, I tried using this automation rule:
I think where I am struggling is with the JQL or maybe I need to add a workflow for this to actually transition the issue, add a label and create an issue on a next-gen software board? For the automation rules, does it require a workflow to coincide with it in order for it to work? Help! Thank you.
I created a new status, 'Moved', for two separate transitions to occur: one from when the issue is created and is in 'Waiting for Support' and the other for being transitioned from moved to closed status.
